Pike x Fly
The owner of Pike x Fly came to me because he needed a website for his fly fishing business. His veteran-owned guide service on some of the best pike and smallmouth bass water in the country was almost invisible online. Someone looking for fly fishing in North Dakota had no way to find him or book a trip.
Bob runs Pike x Fly, a veteran-owned fly fishing guide service in western North Dakota. He takes beginners, newer anglers, and veterans out on Lake Sakakawea, Lake Audubon, and Lake Tschida. He had the business, the know-how, and even the domain names, but what he didn’t have was a website.
We built a seven-page custom site in Wix Studio. It walks visitors from their first look to booking a trip, with pages for trips and rates, a gallery, an FAQ, and a dedicated Veterans Program. The colors and fonts reflect the working-water feel of his business. The copy keeps Bob’s voice and naturally includes the terms anglers search for, like beginner fly fishing guides and the names of the lakes he fishes.
