Will I need to be available throughout the week?
Yes, but you won't need to be at your computer all day. You'll want to make sure you have your phone nearby, to respond quickly to questions or feedback requests throughout the week.
What is a Notion Board?
Notion is the project management system we will be using to keep us both organized. If you've ever used Trello, your Notion board is set up in a similar way. Once your Website in a Week is confirmed, you'll receive a link to your board. On this board you'll be able to see our project timeline & gain access to your DIY Content Writing Guide, Pre-Work and Training Videos.
Are there any additional costs?
Yes. You will need a domain and you will also need website hosting. I can help you get set up with both of those. Take a look at my hosting page before our Prep Call to help you decide which plan is right for you.
Do you offer any other website packages?
Yes! Our custom projects are designed for businesses that need a more expansive, high-impact site with advanced features tailored to their needs. Tell us about your vision and we'll craft a plan that fits.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! This is a big investment for your business. I get it. I want to make sure it's as easy as possible for you to get started. To help with this, we offer a 25% monthly payment plan.
How far in advance should I schedule my Week?
We recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance to allow you enough time to gather content for your new website.
What is "Voxer Support"?
Voxer is a cool walkie-talkie-type app that we will use for communication throughout your Week. It allows for quick communication back and forth so we don't miss a beat and we don't have to watch our email!
Can we do this in less than a week?
The hands-on build is about 3 focused days, but I schedule it across one week to make room for real-life schedules, feedback, and testing. Sometimes we finish early, but I don’t promise a 3-day turnaround.
Do I need to have a Brand Design before I start?
Yes. The Website in a Week Service is an accelerated process. Because of this, we will need a firm foundation before we begin. Befoer you book you'll want to have a logo, color palette & type suite for your brand. If you don't have this, no worries. We will just need to design this before your week. We can do this through a light brand service add-on available on your Agreement.
What about SEO?
SEO is important to a website's visibility - it's how your clients find you on Google. I offer 3 add-ons: one for SEO, one for AEO, and one for both. A description and the option to choose them can be found on the Agreement.
Do you write copy for my website?
No. I am not a copywriter and do not have this service available. I do however provide a DIY Content Writing Guide to give you an outline and guidance so you are able to write your own content. There is also an option to add StoryBrand copy to your site - I take your copy and word it to make your client the hero of their journey & you the guide.
What if I don't have all of my copy/images ready?
When you pay for the service, you'll receive your Notion board, which will give you an idea of how much content you need to gather and how long that will take you. You can schedule your week from that knowledge, which gives you a deadline of sorts. But, if you need to reschedule to give yourself more time, you'll be able to do so once without penalty.
